it can be done first you have install 2003 and than while installing 2010
chose custom instead of typical.

Hello Nitin,
I apologize that my reply was taken in the complete wrong perspective by
you. By no way I wanted to offend you or any member of the list. I was
just
trying to be humorous and also answer your question.
You mentioned in your earlier mails that you got offended by my reply in
some other list, I was not made aware of such a situation. Obviously I am
missing out on something here. I am guessing humor does not go down well
with you. Here on, hence forth any emails from you will be strictly
replied
to in lawyer lingo, i.e. to the point with case instances. Request you to
kindly stop making assumptions on my emails and expressing them publicly
on
the list, you could have mailed me personally and sort some kind of
clarification first instead of getting trigger happy with your
assumptions.
As mentioned earlier, Microsoft won't allow you to have more than one
office
version/ package setup. And I really don't see any reason why someone
would
want to have more than one office package installed on his computer...
Once again, I apologize for the misunderstanding and trust that you will
learn to forgive and forget such instances.

Dear Nitin,
Please trust me as a totally independent observer I think you have
misunderstood the remark.
It was an elaborate and funny way of saying "why would you need to do
this?"
We can all see you are very upset, but please me and others here, no
offence
was intended.
This is a wonderful list, and the moderators are very careful
inappropriate
behaviour.
I honestly think that this is one of those occasions when you are going to
have to believe the rest of us, when we assure you that you have
misunderstood what was meant.
With kindest regards
Niamh

I tried this approach once with Office 2000, which I had and worked
fine, with Office 2010 and it just created a disaster. I finally had
to totally uninstall both and then just install Office 2010 which then
worked fine. There may be a way but I think you are better off
sticking with one or the other
