Hi Lennie, What Al suggested is your best bet but, if you want Dropbox installed on your Win7 system, you want to install it using the share this Dropbox with another computer option. When you install Dropbox you will get a dialogue asking you for your email address etc...
When you get to this dialogue, shift + Tab, to a dialogue box asking you if you already have a Dropbox account, check this box. Now, tab to the dialogue boxes to put in the email address & password that you used for your initial install on your XP computer. Just follow the prompts to get it installed & once installed Dropbox will put copies of all your XP Dropbox folders into the main Dropbox folder of your Win7 computer. Hope this helps. Take care. Presently, I have DropBox installed on my XP computer and I know that I need to install it on the new computer. What is the best way to do the transfer? I am assuming that I need to set up a share folder for this purpose. Any guidance will greatly be appreciated. Take care.
