Hi
I agree. At one point I was using one desktop and two laptop computers. All I did was install the drop box software on each computer. Then I logged in with the same user information on each computer. Suddenly I had a simple way to transfer files quickly from one machine to the next.

God bless,
Mark

Hi.
No.
When you install dropbox on the windows 7 computer sign in with the same
user name and password as the one on your xp computer.
It will automatically syncrinize everything.

Subject: [Blind-Computing] Using DropBox to transfer files

Hi,

I am wanting to transfer folders and files from my XP computer to my new
Windows7 computer. Presently, I have DropBox installed on my XP computer and
I know that I need to install it on the new computer.

What is the best way to do the transfer? I am assuming that I need to set up
a share folder for this purpose.

Any guidance will greatly be appreciated. Take care.

Lennie
