Hi Jay, Try the following: control panel, administrative tools, press enter on services, then tab once to move you from the tree-view to the list view, and then you can navigate to the indexing service by first letter. Once you have it selected, press enter to open the properties. Now tab to the Startup Type combobox, and use your arrow keys to set it to automatic, manual, or disable. Apply & okay your changes. HTH, Take care. Mike This email was sent from my, iBarstool.

When I use the applications key and search around in the varius options there, I find out that with the use of the Jaws key that Indexing services is not running. Any suggestions on how to get it running again, I can't seem to do a Windows search of my computer nor can I search my MS outlook addressbook with this service shut off. Thanks in advance for any help Jay For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
