Honestly we have yet to discuss the details in person so to speak, so far only over email. This is Rick's brain child it just falls under my domain since we changed over to Mailman six years ago. Like I said and Rick has also stated we have to draw a line somewhere so that is probably where the DMZ will land. At the time the list was started, the focus was laptops and desktop PCs and their peripherals. Now that the list belongs to Dave, he will always have the final say in any decision and the management team will follow his lead. If you think about it, technically, most of todays electronics can be considered computers of sorts, but they are not within the scope of this list. Cel phones may be used for many things these days, but they are still phones. HTH, Richard Q. The documentation has not started as of yet, just giving you folks a heads up. Phones will still be off topic but I pads and such devices will most likely be allowed. Obviously we will let you know the final decision. David Ferrin Always be yourself because the people that matter don't mind, and the ones that mind don't matter.
