Modern Windows does NOT run in DOS.

Anyway I use Linux for a lot of things including wiping harddrives.

I boot a live CD called GRML from www.grml.org on the system I want to wipe.

I use the good old dd unix command to wipe the entire harddrive.

All 100% accessible - GRML provides software speech using Speakup but knowledge
of UNIX/Linux is required to use the approach outlined above though.

But learning is fun and learning Linux is especially fun <smile>
