Hi Allan,
I'm using Jaws, and I had no problem. If Jaws is having real trouble,
you're far better off upgrading to the latest version than buying a license
for another screen reader. There really isn't another screen reader on a
level with Jaws or Window Eyes. For the average user, there really is no
difference between Jaws and Window Eyes, but there isn't anything else very
comperable these days. (Sorry Hal users, but it's just a fact.) For somebody
needing additional access to specialized applications, then I would
recommend Jaws. Eithe rway Allan, you don't need another screen reader.
(Yes, in the politist way I can, I am saying Sean likely doesn't know what
he is talking about. I haven't read his post, but I've been able to gleam
his sentiment by reading your replies.)
HTH,
Vapour
