Hi guys,
I realise there is maret to both sides of the discussion. In the end
though the game is attempting to resemble the original Montezuma's
Revenge with some unique changes here and there along the way. One of
those changes I am making myself such as changing the character from a
man to a woman.It is not a major change, but does make it a little more
unique than the original.
As it happens I don't really see the need for boss levels, because the
full version is going to be pretty hard enough as it is. There are going
to be several traps such as rolling boulders, falling rocks, fire pits,
acid pits, spikes that pop up out of the floor, rolling and attacking
skulls, the giant spiders, the snakes,and so on. The current demo is
only a mere taiste of what is to come in the future. James North left
enough notes about the traps he had planned, and knowing his works as I
do they can get pretty challenging. I only hope I am able to follow
through with the ideas as well as he could have. Smile.
