Hi Ryan,
I think when I released that trailer I made a mistake as people made
some unrealistic assumptions about the actual game play, and for that I
apologise as the trailer is only meant to be an intro of the game.
What I did was some crafty effects blending in goldwave to give a player
an idea of what the game is like, but not recorded any specific level,
maze, or actual real life game play. Perhaps I should have as this has
unintentionally led people to believe something other than the facts.
The new engine still is a side scroller, and you will still here objects
coming from the left and right. You will jump left and right, walk left
and right, and climb up and down ladders, ropes, vines, etc justlike the
original. I am even keeping the original layouts as best I can for the
levels.
For the most part game play hasn't changed from the original game. Smile.
