Good deal, I will keep this info in mind in the future. I got home, and took
the cap off the valve, and sprayed just a touch of WD 40, on the stem, flicked
it a few times with my tiny screw driver. put air in the tire, it has worked
fine. I guess a little dirt are something got in to the valve. Thanks for
the info. regards Don

Subject: [BlindHandyMan] Don's valve stem leak (As heard on episode 189 of
Blind Handyman show)

  Hi Don,

I heard on the Blind Handyman show that you were having a leak from the
valve stem on your scooter. You can pick up a valve core removing tool at
any auto parts store. The tool looks like a small screw driver with a slot
in the business end. You put it down around the little thing you were
flicking back and forth in side the valve stem which is called a valve stem
core. Turn it counter clockwise to remove the core, being careful , if
there is any pressure still in the tire, that it doesn't fly out and you
loose it. Once you have it out, you can clean it and put it back in or take
it to the auto parts store and get one like it and replace it.

  Hope this helps :)
