can't comment on the actual job at hand but I'd highly suggest spending time with a fretless before you unfret a bass of your own!

I'm a bassist and recently I've gotten such wild hairs, I have done all kinds of upgrading and swapping bass guitars. Now I have this incredibly crazy idea. I want to take a five-string Fender Jazz bass, remove the frets, fill -in the empty spaces and have me a fretless. So, if anyone has done this, I'd be curious how best to remove the frets, but more importantly, what would be a good filler. This is a Rosewood fingerboard. tnx Scott [EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:s.howell%40verizon.net> net [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] To listen to the show archives go to link http://acbradio.org/handyman.html or ftp://ftp.acbradio.org/acbradio-archives/handyman/ The Pod Cast address for the Blind Handy Man Show is. http://www.acbradio.org/news/xml/podcast.php?pgm=saturday The Pod Cast address for the Cooking In The Dark Show is. http://www.gcast.com/u/cookingindark/main.xml Visit The Blind Handy Man Files Page To Review Contributions From Various List Members At The Following address: http://www.jaws-users.com/handyman/ Visit the new archives page at the following address http://www.mail-archive.com/blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com/ For a complete list of email commands pertaining to the Blind Handy Man list just send a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yahoo!
