Michael, This topic has been dredged by some of us, (not to say not discussed on list) and there ar few things. If you soot that radio or buzzer, it will be destroyed. So you might send it's sound up a horn through the back.
The best solution is to get one of those light to sensor games. Now, it gets tricky here. You have to put the light on your chosen firearm. You then place the sensor 10-15 feet away off to the side. You then angle the light emmitter to point to the side, so that when the rifle is sighted (by the sighted) to the bullseye of the target, the light emmitter is at the proper angle to the sensor and will beep. You need a circuit that will beep when you are on, and stop when you are off target. Not a circuit like in some of the cheaper games we are trying to use, that uses just the briefest of light sensings to count as a hit, thus the sound stops or is intermittant. You'll always need to be within X feet of the sensor, and any angle changes will need to be corrected, so you may wish to add a red dot to the sensor so your sighted friends can see where the sensor is pointing for easy set up. ow, you may wish to keep the tone box, if not in the sensor near you so not to bother other shooters, (put a sweater over it). You probably won't be able to wire headphones as the sensing anle would be rather odd and you'll need to triangulate with as much distance as possible. Remember a little movement hee is a big movement down range, so it is best if a little movement here is a medium movement to the sensor to at least be competative. It's a drag to try to work one of these things and many things have been tried. next message On Thu, 7 Jun 2007, Michael Baldwin wrote: > What can a blind person attach to the target to make noise to help the blind > person locate the target? > Michael > > > _____ > > From: blindhandyman@yahoogroups.com [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > On Behalf Of Lee A.
