Hi, Part 2 What I always did was put about 60 feet of twine onto a coffee can, I'd fill it with rocks, and set it out in my lane, as far from the shooting line as possible. I would then tug, tug, tug, and small tugs made for 2 foot hops of the can, like the standard foot step. Granted a coffee can is a small target. But as it stepped closer and closer, I had a better and bettr chance. that's why I know, for me, .38, 9MM, and higher cause ringing that conflicts. this is unless the 9MM is downa rather long barrellike the Artillery Luger. Still that noise is tiresome. .32, and especially .22 are fine, and ammo is cheap. but, I will warn you, don't let the other guys hear the noise you'll make if you hit the twine with that bullet. Yes, accidentally I assure you. But that's a lot of power hitting that string and you'll feel the full test of that string in an instant, in your hand. But plowing that coffee can is very very satisfying. We took at-shirt form and stuck jinglebells to it. So my buddy would hit his target, on the same board, and I'd hear the bells ring and try to shoot at them. 25 yards on the pistol range, still too far away for locating by sound. that was 10ft for me, and I put a golf ball sized group of 3 .45 into the center of the t-shirt form. :) We also did a little bit of voodoo that day by naming the target. Nice work if you can get it.
