I think she uses jet dry or there is a drying agent in the cleaning product.

Jet Dry

It is a liquid drying additive that you should have a dispenser
for in the door of the dishwasher.  It I think changes the
surface tension of the water and does not allow the little
particles to stick.  We use it and it works like a charm.
