Most people do not realize how dangerous cutting grass can be. Since when
our kids were young they were never left outside when our or the neighbors
grass was being cut. Today we do not go out or let my guide dog out during
that time period. I got that idea about thirty years ago when a co-worker
was cutting the grass. His mower kicked a rock and it went through the
windshield of the police car as it was going down the street. The cops very
quickly exited the car with guns drawn. Every time the grass is being cut I
think of that story. If that rock went through the windshield of a cop car
just think what it could do to a kid.
