Spiro, the height of the ceiling of the deck is almost 8 foot. The storage
area above the second floor flooring is 5 and a half feet in front and 4 and a
half in back. In the front area I placed a telescoping pull down stair to get
up in it. When I run out of other things to do. I'll put frames on hinges that
I can lower on the sides in winter to enclose it. The frames will just be
covered with plastic.
I had a customer one time that had a car port in the summer and had walls
hung on hinges. It was attached to the end of his house. When winter came he
lowered the walls and locked them in place with dead bolts and he had a garage.
The garage doors had to hand swing open, but it worked well for him.
