THanks Jim, that is rather interesting, but well hey as long as oil  
gets on the chain, guess it doesn't matter how.  I have a tree my wife  
and I want very much to be rid of and the problem is we have had  
several offers from folks who wanted the wood.  THey never seem to  
find the time to come and cut it down.  So, I'm going to cut it down  
and either see if my folks want the wood, which is unlikely since the  
novelty of the fireplace has warn off or I'll offer it to a friend of  
mine.  If all else fails, I'll leave it for the recycler and they can  
haul it off and make mulch out of it for all I care.  Maybe I should  
dig a fire pit where the tree previously stood and burn the wood  
myself. grin  I guess I'd have to wait a year for it to dry though.
