Ed, the 40 lb tank is actually a 50. The law here states you can only
fill them 80 percent full. that goes for any refillable pressurized tank with
anything.
To answer Lee's statement about being heavy is the reason it is dangerous.
Natural gas is light and will rise, not so with propane. Propane is heavier
than normal air and will fill an enclosed area from the floor up.
