You should be able to add an extension to the end of the washer hose. I've
found them in the store before that look like a funnel and if they don't have
those, you can ask for a short length of hose that will fit over your current
end.
There are several ways they may suggest you do this. There is what is called a
"barb" which is a section of pipe that has ridges on the outside. The barb
pushed into a hose, has a shoulder in the middle and then another length of
hose can be pushed on the other side joining the two pieces together.

I have a deep laundry sink where the washer drains. When the water
hits the bottom of the sink it sometimes splashes onto the wall
