Aloha Jewel,
I like the idea of the screen sock that Dan 
mentioned, but your idea was easy to implement. 
Instant gratification! I have someone else in the 
house who forgets to clean the lint catcher in 
the sink, so this will solve both issues for now.
Will be checking for the hose holes that Ray 
mentioned, but right now I can't even get to the 
laundry room because the kitchen cabinets are in the living room...
