Yes, that's a super sensible request, and it's very much feasible. In fact,
my understanding was that the deprecation warning mechanism, which we are
using, already supports this. I'll double check. If this isn't possible
with the current code, I'll add it in.

One thing I've learnt here - from this request, but also TK's and Greg's -
is that I have undercommunicated the options available to site owners. I'll
write a seperate doc that is more clear on this, and spells these things
out more clearly.
