So every time a user - anywhere - gets a request from Oracle to update Java
this is likely to fix the problem, OK?

On a related note a number of people seem to think HTML5+SVG+Javascript
will replace applets. Obviously this would be a problem for Jmol applets as
they do a great deal of computation (e.g. expanding cell contents). I
haven't written graphics for some time but may have to do so. What is the
current best strategy in the BO context? I am a strong believer in SVG -
but what else and how?
