I've tried even to strace the "dovecot-auth -w" processes that are "stuck" ,
after launching 'strace -p $PID', it doesnt shows anything, maybe those process
are stuck in some system call hanging from a long time.
Even after enabling a more verbose logging of dovecot, it doesnt show any
error, when those process are stuck the dovecot daemon accepts pop3\imap
connections\authentications .
Any idea on how to fix this issue?

service dovecot restart
Then block the ip that is attacking dovecot
