Hi David,

Even after restarting dovecot, or stopping it, the process are still there eating cpu.
I didnt see a particular ip attacking the server.

Last time i've noticed that during the boot process, i get an error regarding the pam abl databases.
After removing the users and hosts databases, following the steps outlined in this thread ( http://mail.blueonyx.it/pipermail/blueonyx/2011-February/006540.html ) the error message has gone.

Sincerely i dont know if this can affect the way "dovecot-auth -w" works, but that's solved an error.
