Have you considered a patreon?
I did consider it briefly. A benefit would be that it allows monthly contributions for as long as someone wanted to contribute. But it would add another middle-man to the mix (Patreon -> Paypal -> German Bank -> Colombian Bank) and they're already robbing me blind as is. :p
