The glass is available separately, but it'll only fit on existing Euro assemblies. I recently replaced the glass lenses on the M3's Euro lights > I know the euro lights can be retrofitted to the US cars, but has anyone > had any success doing this with a Dinan CAI? The question is this, as the hub will sit for a while as we get the other components, should the hub pin be coated with let's say WD40 to keep it from rusting until we're ready to do the install? Of course we'd clean it off when we put the bearing on later. -Kevin ---------------------------------------------------------------- This e-mail communication is confidential and is intended only for the individual(s) or entity named above and others who have been specifically authorized to receive it. The car has 100k miles, the driver's front upper link failed right after I picked up the car in Denver(ski vaca, road trip, non Maine salt ravaged car) I changed it when I got home, knowing full well that I should change the other, but it was cold out... Nice car, but I don't seem to want to drive it when I have my e32..The BMW has a much crisper feel.(OBMWC) The Infiniti is a little more Buick tuned, but it probably needs a new set of Tokico Struts. Its kind of like a Japanese 7 series on xanax. Melllooooooow. But with a 4.5 liter V8. Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I replaced the tie rods on our '95 M3 yesterday and while checking everything out I noticed that the drivers side of the rack has a bit of play that can be observed with the boot out of the way. It looks like slight vertical movement when someone rocks the steering wheel back and forth. No leaks and otherwise feels very good. The shaft coming out of the rack on the pass side does not have any such symptoms. Question: Are these racks rebuildable or is purchasing a complete rebuilt unit the only option? I have had a few cars that this type of play could be fixed by replacing the bushings on the outside of the rack, but I have never heard of any such fix for a BMW rack. I would really hate for my Koni money to go something as booring as a rebuilt rack ;-) Dave T. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2006 08:06:49 -0700 (PDT) From: Drew Sheppard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: bmwuucdigest@uucdigest.com Subject: For Sale: 87 325is Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Purchased this car 3 years ago in CA, shipped it to OH when I moved here 2 years ago.
