There are two issues here: 1) I think you will need to run the configure script to configure the library (Differing Dinkumware lib editions are really automatically detectable) 2) There is no Jam toolset - you can either write your own (and tell us about it), or just build using your favourite IDE or whatever - remember that only a minority of boost libs require building anyway, most can be used as headers alone.
