I think There is a misunderstanding.  I wasn't referring to the  voice 
synthesizer feature.
What I'm saying is, It stands to reason, that if you keep incorporating stuff 
related to  FM radio, daisy reader, recorder, it WILL cost more for everyone 
and could change the physical advantages.
I can appreciate the value of the Eloquence feature.
For those of us who  are deaf-blind, the Braillenote is a very special  device. 
 I am concerned that,  if  the emhphasis on upgrades is concentrated on audio 
features (e.g., more radio, daisy, etc.)  we will loose the quality of braille 
(with voice synthsizer) that has been the foundation of the Braillenote since 
it was developed.
This device is companct and lightweight.  True, Freedom scientific  has the Pac 
Mate.  However, I've tried it and  prefer the Braillenote for its size, weight 
and ease of operation.
I hope this is more clearly stated.
