Keep in mind that daisy isn't a speech only thing. So the addition to daisy
to the braille note could benefit anyone who wishes to read a book in the
dasy format.

Hello, KC here,
I think There is a misunderstanding. I wasn't referring to the voice
synthesizer feature.
What I'm saying is, It stands to reason, that if you keep incorporating
stuff related to FM radio, daisy reader, recorder, it WILL cost more for
everyone and could change the physical advantages.
I can appreciate the value of the Eloquence feature.
For those of us who are deaf-blind, the Braillenote is a very special
device. I am concerned that, if the emhphasis on upgrades is concentrated
on audio features (e.g., more radio, daisy, etc.) we will loose the quality
of braille (with voice synthsizer) that has been the foundation of the
Braillenote since it was developed.
This device is companct and lightweight. True, Freedom scientific has the
Pac Mate. However, I've tried it and prefer the Braillenote for its size,
weight and ease of operation.
I hope this is more clearly stated.
