Hi Rob and list,

I have a BN M-power with Perkins style keyboard or what we call on this list
the BT. I've owned a Braillenote since October of 2001. I have seen great
progress from those original units. I of course decided to get the M-power.

I enjoy reading some things in braille. I used a Braille Lite 40 for some
time. The M-power and earlier Braillenotes worked well for embossing
braille documents. Even the original braillenotes worked reasonably well
for sending and receiving Email, much better than what was out in 2001 which
was competing with the braillenote. I think the market is much different
today than it was then! The BN has been a good stable product. It really
depends on what you are looking for in a notetaker.

Please feel free to write me off list if you want my private observations.

Jim Aldrich

Subject: [Braillenote] BrailleNote or VoiceNote?

I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Rob and I've become
quite interested in the BrailleNote. Anyway, on to
business. Which unit do you have, a VoiceNote or
BrailleNote, and why did you choose this? I like the
VoiceNote for it's price point.
