Hi Chris and all Sections 2.9 and 2.10 refer to "compact flash cards" and "inserting and removing compact flash cards". There is no mention of the terminal or synthesiser in the "hardware" section of my manual at all.
Any help finding the section will be greatly appreciated. Is it possible that these sections have been omitted from the manual? I have noticed that some other things (can't remember exactly what right now) are also missing from the manual. These are things that you would expect in the manual, especially since they appeared in manuals for earlier versions. I'm not sure if this could happen, but it is possible that the BrailleNote has "forgotten" the settings for both Terminal and Remote Synthesizer. In this case, try sections 2.9 and 2.10 in the user guide. At least on my mPower they talk about Terminal for Screen Reader and Remote Synthesizer respectively. I'd love to hear what it's like using your PK (or any other form of BrailleNote/VoiceNote) as either a Braille display or a remote synthesizer. Thanks in advance for sharing, and hope that helps you Kylie. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kylie Forth" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2007 1:26 PM Subject: [Braillenote] General introduction and braille terminal question > Hi everyone > > > > I've just joined the list and after looking through the archives have > learnt > that it is tradition for new list members to introduce themselves. > > > > I've already found the archives very interesting and useful; I now know > about grade 3 braille, the Tetris game, and have gotten to know a few of > you.
