First, let me also thank HumanWare for their prompt attention to
these KS 7.5 bugs. Their efforts in both working to fix the
problems, as well as keeping the list updated with progress
reports, are very much appreciated.
Second, at least so far, anyway, I've had success with keeping my
email in the inbox when emptying the trash--well, as long as I do
the backspace with dots 2 3 5 6 to erase my messages while in the
trash folder. I now just read and delete messages as I go along.
Then, when I'm finished with the inbox, I go to the trash folder
and delete each individual message there separately with the
backspace lower G. And, when doing things this way, all messages
that were in my inbox before going to the trash folder and
emptying are still there after the trash has been emptied in this

Not only on exiting, but emails are erased no matter how you
clear trash; one email at a time, exiting keymail, or with the
option in the Trash Folder Menu.
