I was told by HumanWare this morning that I am unable to buy a service
agreement on my Braille note, why? Because it is a transplant! I don't
think I have heard this one before, but maybe I just missed it.

I guess this means that any cleanings, battery replacements, or anything
else will be paid for at my expense plus! Not happy about this since I know
the costs will be high for me. My transplants were completed in January and
February 2006, and I paid for service through 2007, called to update and
although I can buy SMAs for the products, I cannot buy a service agreement,
not even to have battery changes.

The policy seems harsh all because I choose to use my working Braille
display and save all of us money!
