Hi, this has happened to my PK a few times and the only permanent solution is to send it back to Humanware. I was told about a way to bring it back on this list when it first happened to me but I was contacted by a staff member of Humanware and told not to do it because it isn't the way to fix it anymore. I was given a temporary fix but even after that I had to send it back for a permanent fix.

So sorry to say but it has to go back to humanware.

Subject: [Braillenote] SOS; PK flash disk disappeared

Hi All,

Suddenly, for no apparent reason, my flash disk has gone. When I
do a reset, I get the message "The flash disk is unavailable. Please press reset with no keys down".

I've tried all three resets I know, and re-installed Keysoft as
instructed at one point, but all to no avail. I remember mention of a "Technical reset", but can't remember what it is. Is that likely to help, or is there anything else I can try?

All suggestions welcome.

Best,

Peter
