Hi Vicky, and All, Many thanks for the quick and helpful response, but before I attempt this,, where did the Braillenote vvisual display.ht programme come from? And, if that is not strictly necessary, then what was the procedure when using Hyperterminal alone?
Tempting as it is to stay up half the night to fix it, I have to be up early, so shall wait until tomorrow and see whether the answers will make it any more straightforward.
