I am not sure routers normally come already set with a specific key. In every case I have seen you must set the key yourself, and by default encryption is turned off completely. Malania, what is the network? Is it at home, a school, college campus, work... This should help some.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi Malaina,

Perhaps who ever you got the router off might be able to help
you, or at least tell you where or what the WEP is for your
router.
Did it come with instructions that someone could help you with?
Not sure if the WEP key would be written in them somewhere.

Regards,
Steve.

I don't mean to be difficult but there is no network. All I did
when I got the router was hook it up to my laptop and the dsl
modem that was it. I am not sure what John and Alex mean. I
know your trying to help and I appreciate but I am so lost with
it all.

Malaina
