You are the network administrator at your home. If you want to put in a wep key, then you put it in. First of all, go to the connectivity menu on your bn. Tell it to scan for networks by pressing s for scan. It will give you names of wireless internet connections around you. Hopefully it will only see yours. When you come to the part where it asks for the wep key, type in letters and numbers you will remember. Save it in a place where you can find it later if you have to reconnect. I think this is how you do it if you're setting up your own connection to your own Internet provider's site. If you don't want a wep key, then just indicate no when you configure the connection. But remember that if you don't have a wep key, people in your neighborhood can hook on to your Internet and do their email, etc. Some people don't care-which was nice over Thanksgiving at my mom's. Lol. I was able to hook on to their Internet every day and download email, etc. Debby and Cleo
