Hi Jenny;
Joseph has a neet idea. Sounds like it would work unless you definitely
want the new display.
Back in my transplant days, they had a fixed rate to transplant and for
every level you had to upgrade, they added a few hundred. That's how I
came up with my estimate. If you can get two SMA's, for about $400,
that will get you four upgrades and then you can pay for your
transplant.
Joseph, you sure are a smart person!

Hi Jenny,
Welcome to this list. I'm sure that you'll get many answers to many
questions on this list.
>From economic standpoint, I think it is
better to spend $500 to upgrade to 7.5
disusing Classic) and then use transplant to upgrade to the mPower
(instead of paying over $2800 for transplant plus 4 SMA's you've missed
(6.1, 7.0, 7.2, 7.5). After that, it's up to you.
Feel free to ask any BrailleNote questions here. I'm sure many experts
out there would be glad to answer your questions.
Cheers,
Joseph P.S. As to older KeySoft, the best person to ask would be
Matthew Horspool.
