OK, call me stupid.
The card I was attempting to use was my usual 2GB data storage card and
not my upgrade card, witch has gone missing, I get the dummo award!
I thought the SD card in my bn at the time I attempted the upgrade was the
proper size, as the prepare SD card program on the bn's keysoft system
disk didn't throw a fit like it usually does when the cards too large.
So me being just me, I continued the process not thinking straight and i
just continued the process, not thinking to varrify the card size in my
computer's SD Card reader before continuing the upgrade process.
Thanks to those who clued me into the basics yet again!
Now I feel rather.... shall we say dumb?
Shane who needs to find his upgrade SD card.

Two things I would suggest checking are:
1. that the AC Adapter is plugged in.
2. That the SD card being used is between 64-512MB in capacity.
If you have met the two above, it then sounds like you are doing
everything
correctly and I would then recommend ringing HumanWare Tech Support
Monday.

I've attempted several times to upgrade keysoft to version 7.5 build 29
from
ks7.5 build 28 following the instructions on the website with no success.
After preparing the SD Card on the braille note, copying nk.bin to the sd
card using my sd card reader, inserting the SD card in the braille note,
and
performing a dots 45 reset to initiate the upgrade proceess the braille
note
just sit their and does nothing after the initial musical tones, and i
get
no braille feedback.
Ideas?
