I'm not sure why the BN doesn't permit connecting to a PC for use as a synthesizer or Braille display by the USB ports. Possibly this is a limitation of Windows CE, 4.2, the operating system the BN runs, or there may be other reasons. Humanware hasn't ever commented on this point. Perhaps the two-SMA count upgrade Humanware has stated is coming later this year will bring an Aladdin's Treasure Cave of nice new features. Brian Brian K.
