Dear Patricia:
I doubt if we will ever know the criteria used by Humanware for its repair
cost pricing. I've just sent them a note with about four questions which I
hope they will find the time to answer if they remember.
Another bad habit of theirs: They love to CHARGE ME 8.45% sales tax. I
live in Denver City and Denver's tax is a bit lower than that. I am certain
this will be a CONTENTIOUS ARGUMENT soon. I'd probably tell them NOT TO
CHARGE THE SALES TAX and I will pay it myself by bringing their final
invoice to the City and have it apply its taxes.
Finally, I thought they CLOSED THEIR U.S. office and MOVED ALL OPERATIONS to
Canada! This now MAKES THEM A FOREIGN ENTITY at least for Colorado. Why
then do they still think they have a right to CHARGE SALES TAX? Perhaps tey
are planning on moving their operations back to California!
Sincerely,
Olusegun
Denver, Colorado
