Hi Nicole -- it seems to happen with all file types, as well as,
more recently, with email. Larger documents are the most likely
to be deleted. And no, there are no place markers.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Lucy

Please give more specifics about the text. Is it in a certain
type of file
only? Are there format markers?

Subject: [Braillenote] Deleted text
Dear all,
As some of you may remember from my previous posts, my
BrailleNote
MPower frequently deletes the text contained in my files (though
not the
files themselves). I know I've asked for assistance with this
before, but
I wanted to bring it up again to see if anyone might have any
additional
suggestions. It is an extremely frustrating and problematic
issue.
Also, my email has started to do the same thing, particularly
with
unusually large messages; as with documents, the email is there
but empty.
Finally, have others on the list experienced this issue?
HumanWare has
refused to acknowledge the problem, stating that "the
BrailleNote will not
delete files". I know of several other customers who have
encountered
this, and it would be nice if HumanWare would at least recognize
that the
issue does, in fact, exist.
Any advice on how to solve this ongoing problem would be VERY
appreciated.
Best,
Lucy
