Hi,
The ooriginal name of the apex is the last 6 digits of your serial number followed by the word apex. For example, xxxxxxapex.

reinstall keysoft 9.0.2

I can't imagine how that will help unless I also ...

reset apex
reset Iphone

Both of which I've tried. I haven't actually erased BrailleNote's flash, but I couldn't find anything Bluetooth-related in there anyway. It don't work.

Interesting thing is that I can use my apex with Macbook via bluetooth without any problem.

Ditto.

The only thing that I can think of is that I have changed the default braillenote name on bluetooth. By any reason, this could be something. In other words, the iphone looks for a specific name for its braille display. I have changed it to BNdisplay. The problem is that I don't know what the original name is. If there is any of you who can check this for me, that will be great.

Me too. I have the same suspicion. It's the only other thing which might be different. If it's true than iOS is using an extremely sloppy method of identifying the braille display. I have already tried "Apex" as suggested by Humanware's documentation; no luck. If anybody here has a BrailleNote with factory computer name, please report what it is.

Cheers,
Sabahattin
