Hi Sharon,

This will often happen when you have a Word XP document you are trying to
open.  If you want to work with it on the BrailleNote, my suggestion would
be to save it as an older version of Word using the PC.

the BrailleNote deals best with Word 97 and Word 2000 files.  This is due to
an issue with the Word converters we are currently using.
