Yeah, if you go to the planner and then hit open, at that prompt you can key in the next year's date because you're still in the calendar. But if you actually hit enter on the default date and enter the planner file for this year, from there (which is where you have to be for the appointment menu to work), you can't schedule for the next year. So you can move to the next year from the calendar page, but you can't schedule the next year from within the planner file of the old year.

Hi,

Well, I have a qt keyboard and I needed to schedule an appointment for next year. I opened the planner, went to open, and then keyed in the next years date I wanted being sure to key in the 4-digit year. That created the next years planner file and I just opened the planner for the 2004 date and scheduled
the appointment.

Not sure of the exact keystrokes with a bt keyboard, but if you're familiar with entering data in the planner, that shouldn't be a problem.

Lisa, that won't work. You can't schedule to a new year from within a
planner file for a different year. I was hoping I was wrong, but I just
followed your suggestion, and it didn't work. I really wonder, as I said
in a previous message, if the scheduling should either be changed to, or
added to, the calendar, rather than being something one has to do from
within the planner file.
