Hi Paula Did you read my note, from about six weeks ago, about the DVD case I use for my BT. I got it at Walmart for about $33. If not, I will see if I still have it. It will prevent your accident. Terry Powers

I strap it on my waist, and read away. So what if people think I'm feeling my stomach!!!!!!!! I've also used it with a music stand, playing an instrument called a Qchord with my left hand and reading words with my right. How cool is that!! By the way, just for everyone's information, I sent my BN back even though it started working after it's "coffee break" just to be sure everything's okay. Fortunately I was able to back up all files and translate the files I needed to print into Microsoft word before I returned the unit. I haven't heard back yet and probably won't for a few days, so I'm going through a painful BN withdrawal. That earlier, brailless note taker's better than nothing, but I guess a pencil and paper is better than no computer for people who can see, too. If there is damage done by the coffee, I'm prepared to pay for it. The spill was an accident, the fact that I carried the BN on my shoulder with the cover open was my negligence. Again I say, let this be a lesson to us all. I guarantee I'll keep that case closed when I'm not actually working from now on, and will very possibly keep the BN in a little lap top case as well. God bless! I tried using my braille lite 18 in choir once. One of the members laughed and told me I looked like R2D2. My wife said; no. He looks more like C3P O. My braille note qt is larger. I suppose it would look pretty funny with a keyboard protruding from my stomach<grin>. But I used to use my blt all the time. Usually, I didn't hang it around my neck, but just held it below my waist in my right hand and read and advanced with my right. I don't think this would work with my qt as it is so much larger.
