Hi, Don. I don't see anything here for an smtp server authentication name. There is a place for the pop and smtp. That is already filled in. Is this something you enter when on the network or is it already placed into directory of services?

Hi Paul,

Glad to hear you got the network card. One thing though. We found a problem in sending email from an outside network such as a hotel or something similar. Turned out that we had to use server authentication to be able to send via our earthlink accounts. You'll need the smtp authentication server name
and any settings unique to that.

Once you do that though, you should be okay. It may not be needed, but not a bad idea to have the info along. Actually, I set most of my connections that way now so I don't have to worry about trying to remember just how to do it. <grin>

Hi, Don. I carry a regular phone cord myself. I also just got the
ruggedized network card that the bn uses for 81 dollars from
shopperwiz.com. The last hotel I was at had networking. If the next one
does, I am ready<grin>
