Hi Lisa, I've been thinking about your problem and I've had an idea which just might help. I'm assuming that when you create a new document in Keyword, you want it to be a .kwb (Keyword braille) document by default. I wonder, have you checked your default type for new documents? To do this, follow these steps:
1. go to the main menu and press the letter W to open the Keyword menu. 2. from this menu, select Setup Options and hit Enter. 3. press the spacebar once, and the BN should say, "file type for new document? currently" followed by the currently selected document type. 4. If this is not "braille document (keyword type)", press space with dots 3 4 repeatedly to cycle through the different types until you hear the one you want to set as the default. 5. Press space with E, and you'll be back in the Keyword menu. I apologise if this isn't helpful, but I just thought it might explain the fact that you're constantly being asked to save your documents as Keyword files when you exit them. I have "braille document, keyword type" set as my default and I never have this problem.
