Hi folks,

Just to set the record straight here, yes I am the "technician" mentioned in
this email!

what was said to Jim was that there may be issues with KWT files on a card
and the saving thereof with the version of KeySoft he is using, as he is
experiencing data loss in his hymn file.

Now, having said that, I am certainly not aware of any data truncation in
KWT files at all, though I did suggest to him that he might use TXT files
when there is a need to work in text documents to eliminate any file
conversion or translation should an issue, which I would suggest based on
conversations had and email read, has so far been confined, be occurring.

or the record, Jim has a Braille keyboard but there are other reasons why
we're dealing with text files here.

so shall have a very merry Christmas singalong. Your valiant efforts in
this regard on my behalf were very, very much appreciated.

technician in New Zealand has told me that the compact flash card is not
happy with the BrailleNote's KWT files, and has suggested that I put my
hymns in an ASCII text file, which I have duly done. Out of sixty-five
hymns, I have lost about twenty-three, plus the odd verse at the beginning
and end of the odd hymn.

non-appearance of my hymns. There is a limerick there, waiting to be
written. A BrailleNote user called Jim, kept finding a disappeared hymn.
I'll leave you to finish it.
