So, which are they calling the function key? The space is a function key, 
the inter key is one, and so is the backspace.

And, which key are you calling the read key? I've seen references in the

and function key a couple of times in the manual, but I can't figure
which
keys those are. When reading the chapter on the navigation keys, the PK
manual doesn't call any key read or function.

On my QT, I go into the options menu with alt+O then press Read+I and
you
should then have a hidden menu called the support information mode
which
you can't scroll through, but there are various letters that will
activate
different functions and pull different  information. To see the function
of
these letters, look in the manual under section 2.5.1
